Grocery Style Fruit Bowl

Save money by making your own fruit bowl at home. The typical price of a fruit bowl this size  would be ridiculously high and its really easy. Personally I find it kind of fun and get the kids involved too, they will love it!
Savings: 15-20$
Ingredients: Pineapple
                     Cantaloupe
                     Strawberries
                     Grapes

Have some large bowls or containers ready because this yields A LOT of fruit.

Cut the top and bottom off of the pineapple.
Cut vertically down the sides to get the skin off but be carefull not to take to much off. A pineapple corer runs about 10$ for you pineapple lovers.
Once all of the skin is off cut all the way down on each side of the core until nothing remains except the core. FYI: Don't forget this step, the core will ruin your fruit bowl.
We eat with our eyes so line up the pineapple and cut it uniformly.
Cut the cantaloupe in half.

Make your kids clean out the seeds. When they are done, go back and get the rest of the seeds out.
Lay the halves down on the flat side and cut into four equal pieces.
Cut the fruit off the skin and try not to get any of the green part of the fruit.
 Perfect.
Wash the strawberries in water and cut of the top. Slice some of the big ones in half.
Pick the grapes from the stems and wash them under water in the strawberry bin.
Enjoy!
